Usually I take family pictures and can’t help but start out by sharing the kids’ pictures. While these two have perfectly adorable kids, they are just the cutest couple! I have to start this post with them. A happy marriage makes a happy family! It’s so sweet to see that here.
This family spends a lot of time on the golf course over a summer, so it was fitting that we’d get their family pictures there. The evening was perfect, the course was in all its beauty, and this family is just so photogenic
These two little guys just keep getting cuter and cuter and they grow!
If one brother doesn’t want to sit, we just get the other brother to crawl! Ha!
And I love what this image captures…. a little glimpse of life with little ones.
How fortunate that our late fall session landed on a beautiful day! The fact that this family found time between regular life plus hockey and hunting season made me feel all that much more fortunate!
Really, families can’t be much cuter than this. And sweet! Did I mention how sweet they are? We were blessed with what will probably be the last warm October day of 2015. It was amazing!
Can you tell I love doing portraits for kids? There is a certain age when kids start to feel self-conscious or uncomfortable in front of the camera–if I can pull out a genuine smile or a bit of goofiness, I feel accomplished!
It is that wonderful, beautiful time of year when families settle back into school year routines, enjoy autumn weather, and schedule family pictures! This last weekend was fun and busy for me as I photographed several families throughout the weekend. Here is a sampling of the photos from Saturday’s sessions. Each family is lovely and unique and, of course, a joy to photograph!
Family time is precious. It is wonderful to capture the times when family from all over comes together. In their days together, this family celebrated an upcoming 40th reunion, some special birthdays, and beautiful summer days. Fun-loving, quirky, and absolutely beautiful, they were a joy to photograph.
